Meet Our Team

The highly experienced team at Shukhman Dental strives to provide patients with a comfortable, warm, and pleasant dental experience.  With multiple generations of patients continuing to frequent our practice in excess of thirty years, we understand the importance of getting to know our patients and providing them with high-quality dental care specific to their needs and preferences.  Not only do we consider our patients and their families to be extended family, but that is how we feel about one another. Hopefully, you will see that when you come and visit us.

   

Joanna, a former Registered Dental Assistant, is our office manager and front desk receptionist. Joanna grew up in Cupertino, where she graduated from Monte Vista High School. Joanna then promptly started her career in the dental field as a lab assistant. She then began practicing as a Registered Dental Assistant in 1993. Joanna has continued to provide dedicated and knowledgeable experience to the dental field for over 25 years. She is extremely knowledgeable about insurances, dental administrative matters and dentistry in general; prides herself on her unwavering commitment and all-around positive energy; and enjoys developing long-term friendships with patients and their families. On weekends, Joanna enjoys spending time with her two children and grandson.

 

Margaret, Registered Dental Assistant, is a life-long Mountain View resident. Margaret attended Los Altos High School and graduated from the National Education Center for Dental Assisting.  She has been practicing as a registered dental assistant for the past 17 years.  Margaret’s dedication and high-work ethic is frequently on display, as reflected in her active role in just about every part of the practice at Shukhman Dental.  In addition to her being a highly-skilled, hands-on and knowledgeable registered dental assistant, she has an incredibly warm and endearing personality, not to mention a beautiful smile.   Margaret has a very large extended family and loves spending time with them, her husband and their two kids.

  

Rose, Registered Dental Hygienist, grew up in Santa Clara County, having attended Los Altos High School and Foothill College. Rose received her Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene in 1992 from Foothill College, and continues her professional development by regularly completing continuing educational courses. Patients trust Rose because of her knowledge, 21 years of dental hygiene experience and care for her work, her patients’ dental needs and her interest in their lives outside of the office.  Patients are reassured they are in good hands by Rose’s thorough but gentle cleanings. She enjoys developing one-on-one connections with her patients and the long-term relationships that result from it. Rose’s favorite aspect of her job is helping patients achieve and maintain good oral health.  On weekends, Rose enjoys watching her kids play sports.
